Medicinal Gardening Workshop
Medicinal Gardening Workshops, Summer 2026 with Erin Narey: Grow your own medicine this year! Each monthly hands-on workshop will discuss medicinal uses of common garden plants and local “weeds;” a demonstration (and sample) of an herbal preparation (i.e. teas, tinctures, oils, salves); and the opportunity to make your own herbal formula(s) to take home. Enjoy a cup of herbal tea while learning about plant medicine and handcrafting your own botanical blends! Take one workshop or several, no experience necessary.
Jun 17: First Aid Herbs: Summer brings a lot of minor ailments—sunburn, splinters, sprains, cuts, rashes, bee stings, bumps, and bruises—but it’s also peak season for helpful first aid herbs. We’ll focus on common garden herbs and seasonal wild plants traditionally used for minor household injuries. Learn to stock your home first aid kit with remedies you’ve grown, foraged, and prepared yourself.
