Holiday Fun!

Santa’s coming to West Burke on Sunday, December 13th and he’s got presents for the kids! Stop by to meet him and go for a horse-drawn wagon ride. There will be cookies and cider for all to enjoy. Folks from the West Burke Church will be there with fun stuff for the kids to do while they wait to meet Santa. The event is free, but if you can, please bring non-perishable food(s) to be donated to our local food shelf.

Throughout the holiday season, check out the display of Christmas Trees lit up in the West Burke Village Park. In partnership with the Town of Burke, the Burke Chamber hosts the display/contest. Each tree is ‘adopted’ and decorated by a local school, business or family. The Chamber picks winners in various categories and each winner gets $100 for a charity of their choice.

Stay tuned for details and the date for a Tree Lighting event.
