Renowned for its breathtaking views and ski racing heritage, Burke Mountain Resort is the best kept secret in the Northeast. Home of the Burke Mountain Academy, the preeminent ski academy in the country with 45 Olympians to its credit, Burke Mountain Resort features sweeping, winding trails, an average of 217 inches of snowfall each year, 36 trails and 14 glades on 178 acres of terrain, and a vertical drop of 2,011 feet. A unique blend of friendly, genuine staff and traditional terrain define the character of one of the last remaining Vermont ski classics. With major upgrades to its snowmaking system in recent years, the mountain features 70% coverage on a variety of trails accommodating skiers of every level with 25% novice, 45% intermediate, and 30% expert trails. Burke also has three terrain parks to keep the freestylists in your family busy all day long.
Rentals and repairs available on-site. Lessons for kids and adults are available at the on-site Snowsports Learning Center.
Located at 838 Dashney Rd, East Burke, VT, the Dashney Nordic Center includes miles of trails for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Our trails are made up of forgotten Vermont country roads, rolling farmland and smaller forest lanes. If we do say so ourselves, it’s pretty picturesque. We have trails groomed for classic and skate skiing through woods and over fields. Loops and terrain is varied and available for skiers of all levels.
