DESCRIPTION:Skiers\, hikers\, and runners: This one is for you! Join us on Saturday\, March 7th as the Lyndon Outing Club partners with Jesse Holden of NEK Endurance for a 6-hour test of grit\, community\, and “positive stoke.” Whether you’re looking to push your body to the brink or just grab some good old-fashioned exercise\, come do some laps and help support our local ski hill! The Challenge – From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM\, participants will tackle a ~1-mile loop with roughly 400–500 ft of vertical gain. See how many laps you can stack in 6 hours! \nGo Solo: Dig deep and see what your legs can handle.\nForm a Team: Take turns crushing laps however you see fit.\nYour Pace: Smash as many laps as possible or just cruise a few times and enjoy the vibes.\nSkin & Ski: Bring your touring setup or try it for the first time! Mountain Ops (@mountainops_stowe) will be on-site with FREE uphill demo gear.\nHike or Snowshoe: No skis? No problem. Foot power is fully welcome. \nThe LOC will have their grill fired up serving up some tasty pub food!\nRed Barn brewery will be selling delicious craft brews!\nThe Scene: Hydration station\, music\, prizes\, giveaways\, and a raffle.\nTailgate Style: Participants are encouraged to bring camp chairs and coolers to set up at their cars. DESCRIPTION:An event to promote ice fishing on Willoughby Lake while honoring a late great friend and fellow lover of the outdoors. This event raises funds for the Shawn Dutil Scholarship.
